Compiling Qt in 32 bit on a 64 bit system?

Hello,

The installation documentation for Qt for Linux states the following:

1.) .configure
2.) make (or gmake)
3.) make install (or gmake install)

During installation my platform is detected, my kernel is 64 bit, and when I make the program it's made in 64 bit. Is there a way to compile Qt for 32 bit while running on a 64 bit kernel?

I'm running Open SuSE 10.2 on Dell Precision 470 systems (Duel Xeon).

Thanks!
