We are hiring for our Los Angeles office.

Software Engineer – GUI Programming

Scalable Network Technologies (http://www.scalable-networks.com) is the developer of the QualNet network simulation software used for performance modeling of large networks in the defense and telecommunications domains. SNT is a small, growing company that believes in giving independence to its employees and promoting personal and career growth.

SNT is seeking a software engineer for its Los Angeles office.

Duties: Design and develop cross-platform applications and new user interface/visualization modules for the QualNet network simulator.

Qualifications:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 2+ years (4+ years with Bachelor’s) OpenGL programming experience.
• 1+ years (2+ years with Bachelor’s) GUI programming experience using QT or equivalent.
• Proficiency in object-oriented design and development within application
systems using C/C++.
• Knowledge of cross-platform development environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of communication networks is a plus.
