Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. (ICS), the leader in advanced graphical user interface development, has a number of positions available for Embedded Linux Developers. As a member of the ICS staff, you will be a part of the largest independent supplier of add-on products, training, and professional services for the Qt multi-platform framework developed by Trolltech®.
Currently we have positions in the Boston area but will consider applicants who would work remotely from other locations.
You have:
* Solid C++ programming skills
* Solid experience with embedded systems, preferably embedded Linux
* Experience with Qt or Qtopia, low-level Linux programming, object-oriented programming skills and/or GUI experience are also helpful
* Excellent command of written and spoken English
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Good insight into all aspects of software development process
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
* A proven track record working on large commercial or Open source software projects
You are:
* Self-motivated combined with a proven ability to work well in distributed teams
* Able to learn quickly and willing to share knowledge
* Flexible, enjoying a fast-changing and unpredictable environment
You will:
* Design, develop, code, test, document, and support software running on Qt for Embedded Linux. The tasks may range from Linux kernel programming for new hardware devices to development of graphical applications
* Be part of a distributed development team
* You may be required to attend customer meetings
