macOS Sierra: Qt Creator will not let me save any edit changes -- AND I FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM !!

On a Mac running macOS 10.12.2 with a fresh install of Qt 5.7 / Qt Creator 4.2.0

The clue was this:
-rwxrwxrwx+ 1 igor staff 1434 Sep 29 2011 main.cpp
-rwxrwxrwx 1 igor staff 1438 Dec 30 21:45 main.cpp.A89613
-rwxrwxrwx 1 igor staff 1438 Dec 30 21:53 main.cpp.O90033
-rwxrwxrwx 1 igor staff 1438 Dec 30 21:55 main.cpp.t90085
-rwxrwxrwx 1 igor staff 1438 Dec 30 21:52 main.cpp.u89936

The ls man page says that plus sign means the file has extended security information (such as an access control list), it further says to use an option combination of "-le" to see the file's ACL's

I found this page that told me how to remove the ACL's (using chmod) and after doing that for the project directory, Qt Creator can now save edits !!

I hope this helps someone else out there !!
