QML Video problem

I am developing a desktop application and I'm using QML for displaying some multimedia elements. But there is a huge problem with the QML Video element: the video loses quality(the resolution is poor). In the the QML Image element this problem disappear if you change the smooth property to true, but the QML Video element does not has a smooth property. Any solution???? Please help
