Qt undefined reference error

Hey guys, I am new to Qt creator and I can't seem to figure out how to get qt creator working on my computer. I keep getting this error:

error: undefined reference to `_imp___ZNK8QPolygon12boundingRectEv'

for every Qt object that I use, and I don't know how to fix this. If someone could help that would be great. Thanks.
