Linux distro for dedicated Qt client

Hey there!

I'm in charge of developing a non-commercial Qt program that is supposed to run on multiple Linux computers. The computers will run the Qt program in fullscreen at startup, ie you are not supposed to start it manually using any input devices. The program will be running a widget containing a QGraphicsWebView and a few QGraphicsItems for the user interface.

Naturally my question boils down to what Linux distro I should choose for the task. Preferrably it should be easy to setup, lightweight and with proper Qt 4.8 support.

I realize this question is a bit vague, but I figured I'd check if anyone here has dealt with a similar scenario and have a suggestion which distro that fits the task. I myself don't have that much experiance with Linux as I have only used Ubuntu based distros and Arch Linux.

You can use Debian on Slackware for it.
