Open file location in Windows Explorer failed in Qt Creator

Dear friends

In my Qt creator, I can't open file location when right click a fille and then select the option "Show in Explorer" . The following error message came with it.

Version Of Qt is attached with this post.

I am using Windows 7. Is there any option to set?

I was having the same/similar problem. In my case when I clicked "Show in explorer..." - "My Documents" folder was being opened instead of the project folder.
I suspected that spaces in the project path may be causing the problem. So I removed all the spaces from the path (i.e. from the names of folders that contain my project) and voila! it was working all fine. : )
I hope this helps you and others too.
