How can I use QPainter to draw a Rectangle and Sub-Rectangles within

Dear All,

Please I am new to Qt. Please I want to draw a rectangle (Manufacturing Floor Layout) and have partitions (offices, stores, etc) within this main rectangle. The main rectangle has a maximum of 2.2cm and width 3.6cm assuming. Now when I make changes to the dimension (length and width) of any of the rectangles, the whole area should be adjusted accordingly and showing this changes graphically. Please how can I do this in Qt.

Any help is appreciated.
