Hi Everyone!

Whether QT/QTOPIA supports HD(High Definition) Bitmaps ?
If yes, how ?
Are there some special APIs ?

HD bitmaps? what are those?
aint bitmaps a mesh of pixels and the resolution of your screen is what matters for its display? ie, for a bitmap of 100x100 pixels on 100dpi screen would be 1x1 inch picture...
API's?

Correct, Display device capability but
the drawing engine in our case should be also supporting 1080p right?

Let's assume a Jukebox where Qtopia is ported, jukebox display supports HD what abt if QTopia is not supporting it ??
Thanks!

correct me if i am wrong:
qt driver paints pixels, much better than what HD offers. i think now you would find 10-16bit HD.
and 1080p... how does that matter? whatever is the resolution, qt works in painting the pixel and 'in turn' the screen...
