konqueror is always in process table

Hi everyone.

Can anyone tell me why when I haven't any opened konqueror instance, all the same the process table shows as if one istance of konqueror is running.

Take a look at the KDE Components -> KDE Performance -> Konqueror page in the Control Center.

"Maximum number of instances kept preloaded" specifies the number of Konqueror instances that are kept running even if you close the last window.

"Preload an instace after KDE startup" can load Konqueror into the memory even if you haven't opened any Konqueror windows.

This is done to speed up opening Konqueror when you need it assuming that in KDE it is one of the applications that you use often and almost always want to use.
