Meyer Sound is searching for a Software Developer to work out of the Sierra Madre office in California. This Software Developer will work as part of a team to design and develop software for control and analysis applications for digital audio and acoustics; Design and develop software to connect to digital signal processors and control the system, acquire data, analyze the data, and display plots to help the tuner optimally adjust the system; Design and develop room acoustic measurement application that uses proprietary processors to acquire data; Design and develop system design tools while considering alternatives (plug-ins for existing 3D environments and design tools, develop from scratch, etc.). Help develop specifications and test plans. Maintain and enhance current software and subsequent versions. Assist with some user interface software development.

We would like to find a talented and motivated software engineer to help develop next generation audio control and analysis applications. Must be knowledgeable in C++, and interested in user interface and algorithm design and implementation. Must have a BS in Computer Science with 3-5 years of C++ GUI programming experience. Experience with Trolltech's Qt 4 library, familiarity with the mathematics of signal processing, and distributed or client/server computing are all a plus. Must work comfortably as part of a team which is distributed throughout the west coast offices and be able to communicate with team members both verbally and in writing while also working autonomously on assigned parts of the projects. Must pass a criminal and general background check.
