Qtopia virtual frame buffer: "cannot connect to X server"

Hello,

I installed Qt-X11's Qvfb, per the instructions at http://doc.trolltech.com/4.2/qtopiacore-qvfb.html , to use with Qtopia apps. It initially worked, and I was happy with that. Now if I run /path/to/Qt-x11/bin/qvfb , I get the error message :

Using display 0
Cannot open keyboard pipe /tmp/.qtvfb_keyboard-0

So I sudo, and get this error message:

qvfb: cannot connect to X server

What condition do you think has changed to cause the virtual frame buffer to cease working?

I'm at my wits end with this!

Thanks
Sternocera

RE: Qtopia virtual frame buffer: "cannot connect to X server"

Apparently, because I previously ran the virtual frame buffer with root access, the keyboard pipe /tmp/.qtvfb_keyboard-0 was protected. I deleted the file, and the frame buffer once again works.

Thanks
