bitBlt() and QImage - it works!?

How come bitBlt() works with a QImage as source?
QImage is NOT a QPaintDevice, and, I can't find anything in the docs that sais so as well - but still, it works fine for me...
Any idea?

There is a function called bitBlt for QImages that is declared in qimage.h to blit QImages over another. bitBlt an Image over a pixmap should not work.
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice

True, now I had a look at QImage (should've done that before... didn't think of that...) indeed, there is am overloaded bitBlt() - thanks.

Next time I ask such a question - slap me with "RTFM QImage" ;)
