ESR Technology (

programmers to work as part of a growing team on an exciting new product
development, MAPS (
http://www.esrtechnology.com/products/maps/). The MAPS
technology combines software, hardware and the communication between them to
provide a means for the non-destructive measurement of stress. This is an
opportunity to work on an exciting new product with many potential
applications in industry.
The successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in programming C++
* Experience of efficient user interface design and implementation using Qt 4
* Demonstrable ability to apply Object Oriented Design principles
* Cross-platform development experience
* Familiarity with all stages of the product life cycle
* Able to write clean, efficient & well-structured code
* Can work alone or as part of a team
The following will also be a distinct advantage:
* OpenGL programming
* KDE programming
* A background in mathematics or physics
* SQL
* Familiarity with Subversion version control system
* Doxygen documentation system
* XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets
* Fortran
