@kevin: go for qtopia core. check the links or better the mirrors and you will get versions with name 'qt-embedded'.

qtopia and qt\embed are almost the same. the difference lies in the fact that qtopia is inteded for mobile applications whereas qt\embed is more dynamic if you want it to be used in embedded machines.
qtopia has bigger footprint though it provides more features. but again, you can use qt\embedded and integrate only the needed features from qtopia package!

let me know where you want it to be deployed so i can help you better. are you using ARM or PPC? and is it on linux or do you want to port it to some other OS?

kevin... firstly, cant feed all the information to you out here.

1. download the package from the second link that i had put in in the previous post. it contains for qt\embedded also. check.

2. difference in qt\e and qtopia also i had mentioned in some detail earlier. plainly putting it, if you are deploying it for a mobile or similar handheld applications, use qtopia. if you want to use qt to work for your own customized application or for example konqueror, using qt\embedded would be a better option.

please read the manuals again. pm me if needed.
