We (
www.avegasystems.com) are a very well funded start-up based in Sydney (Australia). Our 25 engineers (h/w, f/w and s/w) are working on truly ground breaking networked (wired and wireless) home entertainment platforms (audio and video) for embedded as well as cross-platform desktop applications (hence QT).
We are currently looking for people with QT experience. Any level of experience would be good - if you are a QT guru that would be great. If you are a C/C++ guru and just learning QT that would also be good. We have multiple positions so if you have friends who may be interested in this then pass the message to them. Our requirements cover not just QT but also embedded Linux, Linux kernel, hard-core networking (802.11, 802.3, TCP/IP stack expertise), Windows kernel, C, C++, higher level interoperability protocols (UPnP, DLNA), etc. These are all great things to know but your passion for software and your talent is far more important than the specifics of your experience.
