QtForum moderator =) coool
But I think, I may not do enough justice to this forum (time-problem).

But hey, how can I get involved in Qt developement, and can I?
And will you be kind enough to give me some starter's tips, so that I may
get started with Qt developement.

I wanna be a part of Qt developement, instead of being a no-clue-no-idea type
of Qt user. =)

RE: Become a QtForum Moderator

I don't mind helping to get rid of the outrageous amount of junk advertising that seems to infect this forum.
I cannot commit to filtering submissions but am happy to moderate in the sense of checking new submissions when I have time.
I'm very much a beginner at qt though.

RE: Become a QtForum Moderator

Hi.

I could initially assist with moderating (someone to remove all the crap advertising stuff etc.). I am currently a Qt & Cpp Virgin. I have developed Linux & Embedded systems for some nine years now but mostly in C and Assembler languages. Having a "stand-by list" of people prepared to occasionally assist moderating when the assigned moderator go's on vacation/trips etc. may help. Once I am more Qt & Cpp aware, I would like to assist where ever I can. I know from former User Group involvement that time & experience volunteered is a very valuable resource, hence I sincerely appreciate each moderators' efforts.
Cheers. Grahame

Hi,
I have currently a big database client project, using Qt SQL classes (and also UI, etc).
I will be working on it for a few months and posting things regularly, so I recogn I can come here at least once a day!
Let me know if you still want moderators!!
cheers,
Jo
