Using SoQt 1.3 with Qt 4.1.3

Hi everybody,
I am trying to use SoQt 1.3 with Qt 4.1.3.
When I link a simple test program against Qt4 and run it I get a segmentation fault.
When I link against Qt 3 everything works fine. So it seems that these versions of the libraries are incompatible but the SoQt Homepage says that SoQt and Qt >=3.0 work fine together under Linux and I heard of people who used SoQt with Qt 4.

Does anyone have any idea of how to get SoQt work with Qt 4?

PS: my Setup is as follows:
Qt-4.1.3, Coin 2.4.5-1, SoQt 1.3, SIMVoleon 2.0.1.3 running on a Linux System (Fedora Core 5, Kernel version = 2.6).
